AF Build directions instruct to dose the dropper with the lights off. Is it safe to do when the moonlights are on? If not, I will be dosing in the AM, as opposed to at night.

Dosing with moonlights is fine. You just don't want to do it while the regular lights are enabling photosynthesis.

I must have over looked something which one are we supposed to dose with the livhts out?

We recommend to dose supplements for corals at night because at night corals foraging at night. You can see longer polyps in SPS corals.

would it be detrimental at all to dose in the middle of the light period?

Like as suggested by AF you would have much better result to dose after lights out, because the corals are feed during lights outs and will absorb more of the product.

Wasn't so worried about maximum efficiency, was just making sure it wouldn't somehow nuke my tank if I dosed during the day :)
