Dosing

You have to figure out how much your corals are using in order to figure out how often and how much to dose. One solution for each tank as each is unique

That doesn't boost your elements really high

no.

Just use the same idea as the diy 2 part method. Adjust the calcium and alk dosing so that they are balanced. Then adjust the amount of dosing both so alk stays at the same level.

In the diy 2 part you measure the alk and only dose when it drops down. Then after you use a gallon of the mixtures you dose magnesium.

So the same idea applies.

That way you don't overdose and the tank itself determines how to adjust the dosing.

I keep it easy.

2 scoops of tropic marin in a 5g rodi bucket for top off. The key is having good evap

How do you find how much your coral is needing

Test. Test. Test. Test again. Test some more.

Test every day at (as close as possible) the same time and start a daily log of your parameters. And you can figure out your daily usage from the info gathered by your daily testing. Then once you know your usage you can figure out how much of each you need to dose. You need to be patient while doing this to really get the pumps dialed in. Continue daily testing after setting up the pumps to be sure that you've got them set correctly.

If for cal and alk, then you'll eventually have it figured out and fine tuned, and you won't have to make many adjustments.

A lot more coralline will need more, etc.
