I'm new to all the dosing thing so here is my confusion. My friend doses fusion 1&2 and also reef complete, all products of seachem. Which i now have these products too. My question is even if my levels are good do I dose every other day to keep parameters stable or wait till the levels start dissipating?

Well first you need to see how much your tank uses each day. How to do that is to test Alk and Ca for about 2 days in a row. You get your first reading on day 1 and then another on day 2. See how much your tank is actually using instead of guessing.

ie: Day 1 your Alk reading is 8.5 and on day 2 your Alk reading is 7.9, thereby your usage is about .6dKh a day. Then you dose according to the recommendation on your chemicals.

As to how often to dose all depends on how stable you want the parameters. Without an auto doser, daily or twice daily is ideal even if it's only a few drops a day.
