yes but how do i know how much per day thats what im not sure of i know how much i need to raise

Figure out how much is lost per day. I typically keep mine between 8 and 9. I use baking soda in my top off water to dose it.

Directly from the BRS calculator "We do not recommend raising more than 0.5meq/L or 1.4 dKH per day."

okay so i need to go up 110.7 ml but how do i know how much daily to dose am i missing something

That is low, make sure you are testing alk correctly.
My hanna alk was reading 4 when the alk was over 10.
Verify if it seems odd, either 2nd type of test or lfs.

You are at 5.4 If you want to go up to, let's say 8.5. 5.4-8.5=3.1. 3.1/1.4 per day = two days+, not accounting for tank consumption, so let's just say 3 days at 1.2 dkH per day. Follow the calculator on BRS or the one that @Jekyl provided to calculate the amount to dose to up your alkalinity 1.2 per day. Or, Just divide the 110 ml by three and dose that per day. This is a rough calculation and will need adjusting depending on what your test kit shows. Also, what test kit are you employing?
