So my Dotty back has an obsession with swimming through tiny spaces! I find him trying out new spaces all the time! Today I caught him swimming through my mushroom coral. The coral created a small opening between the glass and itself and the Dotty swims through it 
Any space that seems to snug is just a new challenge for the fish to swim through...it seems like the fish's equivalent to limbo. He also does this with my torch and other corals who just seem to create little obstacles for him to swim through.
