my current stocking in my 65 is a clown, 2 cardinals, and a starry blenny, i really like the indigo dottybacks, i also like that they are so available captive bred, would they get along with the current residents?

I had three in my tank for years (eventually died of old age). They were fine with everyone (clowns, kole, foxface, cardinals, angel, wrasses). I have an electric in my 40g and it hides a lot, but bothers neither the clowns or the blenny.

The only fish they are more likely to dominate/be aggressive with, are those that are overly timid like firefish, or those that hang around the rockwork or have a similar body shape to them. I don't think your current stock would be a problem at all (as long as your cardinals are open water swimmers like bangaii or pyjama rather than the more nocturnal types who tuck themselves up in the rocks during the day).
From my experience of dottybacks, indigo are about as laid back as you can get.
