Hey guys, I've recently decided to add a few more fish to my tank since I want to go from a 75 to a 120 anyway. But I'm nervous that even though everyone is small I'm still overdoing it. My tank is 7 months old and before I decided to add more fish o had 2 clowns, a royal gramma, 2 firefish and a tomini tang. Just added 3 blue/green chromis yesterday and I'm waiting for my LFS to get a Mandarin dragonet (that I already planned on getting) within the next week or 2. I was also thinking of adding a wrasse to this, probably a flasher of some sort. Am I going to cause myself problems with this many fish within the next year or so? I've got my pods where I think they can support my Mandarin and I'll watch him closely for the next year to be sure.

Clowns
Royal gramma
2 firefish
3 chromis
Tomini tang
Mandarin
Flasher wrasse

Totally reasonable stock list for a 120

Now would you guys call it quits here? Or is there room for anything else? Not planning on adding anything after this just trying to get a good idea on stock levels.

Flashers tend to be introduced In the initial stockings with other more docile fish so you may have to manage any aggression, my guess, likely the tang, maybe the gramma, hopefully short lived if any.

If your talking a 120g, you have some more room.
I have your stocking in my 65g, but with two tangs, but that’s max for me.

Once the two tangs went in last, they will not allow anyone else.

Totally fine in the 75. Most of those fish are smallish and tbh you will probably only have 1 chromis in less than a year. If you have sand, then I'd get a goby/shrimp pair at some point.

Why do you say I'll only have 1 chromis?
