Got my Innovative Marine Lagoon Fusion 25 gallon today and even the fiancé had to admit, I was a kid on Christmas Day. My Tunze osmolator 3152 ato came in with it as well and I wanted to set everything up so badly but I don't have a tank stand. My old one is built to hold a standard 75 so it only goes back 18" where I need 20" so I need to buy or build and I don't want to pay $300 and so I'm going to build one this weekend and have it stand 4' for easier viewing and cleaning for my sake.

I already have my Current USA IC lights and eFlux pump on the loop controller. I'm super excited to get to customizing that more, especially once the app for it comes out.

Six hours into the build and this is where I finished for the night. Going to go get some knobs, and a few finishing touches and hopefully I'll be able to bring it home with me tomorrow or Tuesday to get the tank on it and cycling finally.

You'll want that particle board protected from moisture somehow. Will it be exposed to any potential spills & splashes? It'll swell and be ruined if it gets wet.
I have particle board panels all around my stand but they are totally encased in Formica laminate.

Definitely aware of the problems with particle board, it's getting its coating starting tomorrow. It'll be sealed over three times to help protect and with color

So here's the tank getting started

not a good shot I know but I'm in the aquarium hobby, not photography. Had a tough start with getting my salinity at the right level as it starting around 50 ppt [emoji15] had to take a lot of water out but I'm now at 35 so added some rocks from the old tank to get this one going.

/subscribed. I've been heavily debating pulling the trigger on one of these to use as a glorified QT in my home office. I have a perfect spot on top of some built in bookcases,

In my opinion (and future plans) this would make a great QT system as it's set for it basically, just need a top

Got the Tunze osmolator 3152 set up and right away I'm glad I have it since I've had the tank going for a week and already having problems with evaporation. For a birthday gift I received a gift card for Marine Depot so I used it and my store of credit to get the screen lid, Current USA IC light mount, and Julian's Thing with zooplan by Two Little Fishies. So I look forward to getting those soon

I would sleep better at night if I had my tanks on stands like what you show there. Looks great!

First full testing of parameters:

Salinity- 35 ppt
Ca - 395
dKH - 9.5
Mg - 1480
PO4 - 0.04 ppm
NO3 - 0.00 ppm

I hate it but I'm going to have to pull out my old NH4 and NO2 by OPI but it is what it is.
