Hi all am found in a position we’re I will have to downgrade for a wile, will be moving house soon and won’t have space for a large tank until all the new work in the house is done first. Meanwhile I don’t want to lose all the marine life that I was able to collect in the past few years.
What would be a decent smart looking nano tank to house 8 small fishes and coral?

22g long! It’s a 3ft tank and @YHSublime had(has?) idk if he still had it but he had a beautiful tank packed with coral.
May be too small for your fish depending on what you have

Downgrade to 0gals and take up recreational drugs. It cheaper and more satisfying

Without knowing what your space restrictions actually are I'll say get a 40B. Lots of possibilities and not just for short term either.
If you cant have a 36" tank then try a 30 gal 1/2 cube, 24x24x12 tall.

I have a 40b currently and I 100% agree. I just set it up!
Definitely great dimensions
Although I might switch to the 22g long or something custom to allow more room for small frag tanks

Had, and still have! I lost a ton of SPS when my house sitter topped off with tap water, but all the LPS/Softies were upset, then fine, and some of the heartier SPS is bouncing back.

Tank still looks packed color wise, but I'm going to wait until next year before I start messing around with $ high end SPS corals.

Gonna need a list of those 8 small fish. 40 breeder is a great tank, but if your current tank has a footprint of 48x18 you won’t really downsize much by going with a 36x18 footprint. 24x24 might give you the volume you need and reduced footprint. Maybe one of them corner tanks might suit your need as well.

Dude I’m in love with that 22g u have. I’ve read thru your pages on every site you have about once a day! I want my 40B to look like yours!

Well since you have 8 fishes (need a list?) what about a 60g cube? 2x2x2?

It's not like you can fit 8 fish in a 20g unless they are like tiny gobies...
