So came home from florida after getting stuck there for 2 weeks due to Irma and this is what my wife's clown looks like. It's now darting like crazy and not eating but also not rubbing on anything. Any help identifying and treating this would be appreciated. Also, this was an over night thing not days worth of build up and nothing different has been changed, fed added/removed.

That looks to be a bacterial infection, though brook is a distinct possibility. How long have you had the clown?

Did any ammonia build up in the tank?

I've had it for 5 years. Bought it the size of my pinky nail and been 1.5 inches for 4 years now not growing but healthy as an ox surviving almost everything that could happen to a tank. I tested the water and everything was in range including salinity when I got back no ammonia either.

So far he's still kicking nothing's changed yet. I have chloroquine phosphate a breeder friend gave me but not a scale that can read mg to measure it out. Would that treat both brook and/or bacterial infection or do I need something else?
