Any ideas, going from a 150gal custom tank to a redsea reefer 350. Moving and tank to big. Redsea arriving today

Anyone in the santa barbara, ca area I have a yellow, purple, salfin tangs that are to big for my redsea 350 will sell cheap

Hey, I'm in SB. Are you moving within town? I've moved my tank and it's basically an all day thing. I'm not sure what your 150 looks like, but what I did was buy 4 of those 27 gallon totes from home depot and siphon some water into those totes and put the rock in there. Then I used like 5 -5 gal buckets to put smaller rock pieces/coral/fish in those. Then I drained it all, chucked the sand, put all the equipment in another bucket. Loaded up the truck and moved it all and then setup the rock, sand, equipment. I'd recommend having about 40 gallons of water on standby at the new spot to make it easier on yourself and filling the new tank with some of your old tank water to keep the rock and coral submerged. I kept my fish in one of those totes overnight with an air stone, heater, and powerhead and let the tank run until the next day before putting the fish in. No fatalities which was awesome. Do you have a photo of the purple tang and how much you wanted for him?

Best of luck on the move. Whatcha doin with the ole tank?
