Got a question for you guys as well as a heads up.

I ordered a 8oz bottle of Dr. Tim's One and Only from Chewy as their price was only $30 for it, less than everyone else's. Received it today and it was dated best by August 2017. I emailed Dr.Tim's to ask if it was OK to use or should I return it. They responded saying " It is borderline - will still help but is old". I called Chewy and they are sending another bottle with the directions to check date. If you order a bottle from Chewy make sure you tell them to check the date on it.

My tank has been running for 4 weeks now with MicroBacter7 and I was going to add the Dr Tim's as a boost before transferring my livestock to the new setup.

Now my question:
Should I use the old bottle or discard it? The bottle say you cannot overdose and I figured I could use it along with the new bottle when it arrives.

Opinions?

Might as well use it. The bacteria can lay dormant for an extremely long time so I would say it will help just as much!

Even if a lot of it has died off I don't think there's any way it can be harmful. So even on the off chance that it could still help, id say go for it!

Thanks, I think I will just add it when the new bottle gets here
