So starting a new 40B and accidentally bought the One & Only but for freshwater.. Ya'll think it will still work in helping cycle the tank or should I keep it away at all costs? The bottle/details/instructions are identical with the saltwater bottle I guess I just missed the part that said Saltwater..

Dry sand & Dry rock

Thats a bummer. It is a different kind of bacteria.

Figured, is it bad to put this in an already established tank? I have a friend with a freshwater so i might just give it to him.
Bad to put in an established reef tank or established freshwater? Either way it wouldn't be bad but it wouldn't do any good in a reef tank.

Im not sure if this is your first time usong dr tim. But you'll love it.

You'll be better off using live sand and dry rock.

This is what I did on a 60 gallon grow out with a 40 gallon sump.

I let the tank run until it's clear. 1 or 2 days. Add Dr Tim. 2 days after put in a few fish (2 clowns 1 tang). At 10 day I did 30 gallon water change. Then added zoas palys and Lps (like 10 frags). After 20 day mark no losses. Did 30 gallon water change. Added more Dr Tim. Added clean up crew and a few sps frags. After 4 weeks no losses. Then I added more fish (1 melenarus wrasse, 12 carberryi anthias, atl blue tang). Same time added all the coral I wanted zoas, Lps, sps. Tank is now 2.5 months old and doing well.
