Alright, thanksThere's not much information available on fish life expectancies. I'd guess 5 years would be a good average though.
Gobies usually fall in the range of 3 to 5 years. But then there are people who have had them for twice that.I asked before but never gotten a clear answer on them, anyone have experience?
alright, Ill do my best to see if I can get to there or longer!Gobies usually fall in the range of 3 to 5 years. But then there are people who have had them for twice that.
Very cool fish. One of the more expensive gobies here in Canada
I have a smallish tank so I like buying fish that are just slightly less common. For example I got a Helfrechi vs. a purple firefish. I also just got a flame prawn goby which was very pricey but very hard to find.their a bit harder to fine and a bit pricey, but it will be the centrepiece of my tank so im going with it
ive got a 15 gal, so similar experience hereI have a smallish tank so I like buying fish that are just slightly less common. For example I got a Helfrechi vs. a purple firefish. I also just got a flame prawn goby which was very pricey but very hard to find.
So get the one your heart says yes too because your tank can only hold so many fish!!
I have a very similar experience, just slightly bigger - A Red Sea Max Nano (20g total).ive got a 15 gal, so similar experience here
Yeah that seems to be what happens at a lot of LFS. I'm lucky I have a LFS that brings in many smaller fish and some pretty rare ones like a Candy Basslet! Too much $$$ for me.I have a very similar experience, just slightly bigger - A Red Sea Max Nano (20g total).
Unfortunately, my LFS has been going downhill and the rare fish are all fish for 6’ tanks and bigger - I hate it, a lot of them are also in VERY bad health conditions. They probably get like 6-7 nano fish and then like 70+ Big fish for 4’ tanks+. It’s not even the widest selection unfortunately - It’s like 4 blennies and then a few gobies.
