Got a pair of dragon pipefish from my LFS today. Upon closer inspection, I noticed white spots...maybe even like bristles.

Hard to tell if it's ich or the like...or just a normal body feature. Both have these white bristles/spots and they look somewhat even spaced out and distributed

Appreciate anyone who might have a dragon pipefish to share their thoughts...

They're on the back of both. Believe the pair I have are male / female...

I'll prob FW dip and QT... hoping not to have to do TTM/QT since I won't be able to consistently do TTM water changes with an upcoming trip... :/

So I've been scouring the net looking at hires shots of green dragons... looks like they all have some white spots/bristles...

I'll take the risk that it's normal...unless some were tells me otherwise

Sorry that I did not see this sooner but I only know general info on pipefish, not the specifics of different species. It seems likely that it is normal markings given the regularity and that other pics show similar markings.

Thanks!

Sadly one of the two didn't make it... was breathing heavy at the LFS but thought I would try to see if it could be saved anyway. :/
