I don't know what else it could be.... And, unfortunatley, I don't have a picture of the actual "packet".
I just notice a translucent "bubble" coming out of an area between eyes... I reached in thinking it was some odd debris and when I waves my hand at it, the coral "released" it leaving a gaping opening that is now slowly closing.... I chased the "packet" around the tank and couldn't catch it before it had been sucked into a Koralia Hydor. It was straddling the return grate and when I coaxed it loose it ruptured and tiny particules started spilling from it. I was finally able to grab what was the packet that still held maybe half of it's contents and chucked it into my Fuge....
Hmmm..... Weird... Any clue?
The zoomed in shot shows the opening that the "packet" came out of, just above and to the right the center eye/mouth...
This happened during the "dusk" period of my lighting cycle, just about an hour before the lights kick off and the moonlight goes on... That's why the first pic is so blue.... (I turned up the lights for the other pictures) - Not bad for an iPhone camera....
Any and all input is greatly appreciated!
