Just picked up a dragon wrasse and was going to do a TTM since it came from a pet store known to have ich. Will it need sand to burrow or will it be alright with some pvc during the 14 day QT?

Get in a bowl of sand, these guys need it to burrow in at night and not stress out. He’s beautiful, wish I had a more aggressive wrasse gang because this guy would be a choice.
I think it should be alright because it’ll only be a small amount, so I don’t think you’ll have the issue of a spike.

Kk ill do a rinse with tap again and drain until no water remains then rinse again with rodi water a few times before putting it in the tank. The bucket had tad bit of moisture from the rinse previously so didnt want any bacteria that was growing in the QT

Also should I put it in tonight or just wait til tomorrow? I checked bit ago seems hes hiding in a corner against a pvc atm. Its already dark so if hes sleepin rather not disturb since it barely got put in QT today.
