Hi
I have a 300L tank that’s been running for around 1 year now. Last week I finished my fallow period for 76 days as I had a ich infestation. I’ve add my fish back to the DT they all look happy. I want to get a mandarin dragonet they are my favourite fish. I know they eat copepods. I just wanted to know how do I go about setting my tank up for them? Do I dose copepods into my DT , if so how many, which brand etc, and how long before I can actually add the mandarin.

thanks in advance. Fr I love you guysI don’t know where I’d be without this website.

Put the copepods into your tank at night or dose them into the sump. Algaebarn has a nice mix of them. Maybe try the eco pod mix? If you feed phytoplankton you will get tons of pods.

I am not sure of an exact date. I usually say a few weeks. Algaebarn might be able to give you a more accurate timeline. PS if you ever wanted to culture pods its pretty easy.
