I just ordered some dragons breath to put in my display tank. One to help naturally keep my tank clean by out competing the nuisance algae ant two because I just like the way it looks when it grows out well into a reef/marine planted tank. I have been researching it and one thing that keeps coming up is how hard it is to attach and the fact that it will not attach itself like some others will. So I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips or advice as to how you went about attaching yours? Thanks in advance guys...

Im new to the macro stuff also. What I have done is attached it to a small rock with either a rubber band (will break im sure) or super glue gel.

Super glue works well on Red Grapes. Dragons Breath is easily torn. I don’t recommend glueing. Dragons Breath as it is likely to tear. Instead use clear fishing line and secure loosely to rock or uplift tube. I make acrylic hanging bracket, drill two holds on platform and secure Dragons Tongue. It appears to float on back glass.

First picture is Dragons Tongue, Halymenia dilatata.
Second picture is Halymenia dilatata.

Thanks for the tips, I have also heard about using small zip ties to hold it in place. Have you heard of or tried this method? I'm hoping to be able to attach it to some rubble that I have lying around and then place it in the tank.
