Drain shooting air bubbles!

I have the same setup. Bubbles were fixed by using a filter sock. To quiet down the overflow you need to slow down the flow. The durso setups aren't intended to run quiet on high flow applications. I got an adjustable return pump and turned it down a bit every day until it began to run silent. It's the only, imo, downfall to a durso. If your return pump is not adjustable you could install a gate valve on the return line to dial it in. I remember reading a site where it gave you the max flow a durso can handle depending on the diameter of plumbing used but can't find it now. Hope that helps!

The silicone tubing is 1 1/4". My return is a Jebao 6000

Ah, well it's controllable and maxes out at what, 1500 gph I think? Play around with slowing the flow and increasing air. Another trick I've used for the Durso is to drill a 1/4" hole in the side of the cap through the pipe too, then you can twist the cap to adjust the air. This is if you need more air than the airline tubing will give you. I think you have either too much flow or not enough air, or both really. Mess around until you get rid of the gurgling, then if the sump area is still a problem work on that next.
