Drain tank to move leaving livestock?

I have a tank that is kitty corner in our bedroom. (it's my build thread). Almost all of my tangled up mess of wires are laying behind it. If I drop something it's is a total pita to retrieve it. I want to move the tank so I have access to both sides and the back. But... I don't want to totally break it down. Is it realistic to drain all the water from the tank and sump then slide the stand over and refill it. I'm thinking I can have it moved and refilled in 30 minutes or less. I just glued all of my sps frags down to the rock work the other day so I don't want to pull the rocks. I can pull lps off the bottom and put them in water for the move. Will the sps frags survive that amount of time out of water or am I just asking for trouble?

How many Gallons is the tank? You can most definitely slide it, be careful of scratching the floor. With one person on each side it should be pretty easy. I would Drain the tank down to about 2-3 inches just enough for the fish to still be submerged and then do it as quickly as possible . Corals can be out of the water for 20 minutes. If its anything you are concerned about Torches, Hammers, Other lps, pop them off the rock and re glue .

Shoot forgot about the fish . That's why I post questions like this. I'm not the most thourogh person when planning things. If I leave a few inches for the fish I won't even have to worry about the LPS on the bottom. It's the sps frags on the rock that I wasn't sure about. Really I could probably have it done in the amount of time it takes to pump the water out and back in with maybe 5 minutes to slide it into position. It's only 24x20x20 so pretty small. I figure I would try to get come cardboard under it to help slide it.
