My tank has been up and running for about 4 months and I have what I believe is blue green algae. I have used chemiclean 3 times now, done a blackout for 72 hours, manually removed as much as I could, and it still keeps coming back. My next step is to get a microscope and verify what I’m dealing with, but I thought I might be able to gain some input here. Has anyone had anything like this? These photos were taken in the middle of a water change so a lot of what you’re seeing is the reminants of what was killed off

You need to stop using a chemiclean bandaid and address the source of your problem. Wee need full tank parameters?

Cut lights to 6 hours with blue and uv only no whites. Get a diverse cleaner crew. Weekly water change with manual removal. Dose good bacteria like PNS probio and dose phytoplankton.
