This is purely an eye candy thread. If you had a gazillion dollars, how insane and obscene would you go with your dream saltwater tank? Pictures are a must (bonus for videos!)

No seafood in this dining room - you might offend the residents!

Enough said…though I may try to get one big enough for a great white lol

The coolest tank (with unlimited money) would definitely be one big enough to create a freshwater to saltwater gradient.
I saw a YouTube video of that tank where some idiot with flash photography scared tuna such that it catapulted into the glass. NSFW.

I just looked up that video on YouTube. Wow!

that video was insane! That tuna was so fast, hope all those people taking pictures with flash get kicked out...

If I had unlimited cash or let my daydreams get out of hand?! Thats be an attached addition to my home all glass walls and roof, a 10x15ft pool about 6ft deep all saltwater with liverock filling the back 5ft. big ol mixed reef I could swim in. Oh and one of the long sides would be a full glass panel facing a sitting area

I would love a tank modeled after Eli’s Aquarium in Israel 30,000 liters looks like a very fun tank. absolutely love his front viewing area. I watch his Utube videos a lot.

I have always joked about flooding out the basement and making a reef down there with a boardwalk running through it. Think Julian’s saltwater pond just inside and on steroids. With that kind of money I would definitely look into something like that or replace a wall in the living room with a tank. I’m going to ignore the obvious insane amount of maintenance both of those would take if you could even get them built.

I knew a guy who had a 3rd story pool with a glass bottom that was above his tv room. I want a glass pool within/above/next to a giant shark tank. Just got to hope I have a long lost billionaire uncle who wrote me into their will haha.

it's funny i have a 75g in my house i know i can get one around 200g if i could handle all that work.but here is the thing after you get a larger tank like i'm thinking about but i'm too old for it bottom line my thoughts if you bought a tank for a gazallon dollars then you will want the Australian barrier reef for 2 gazzilon dollars trillon

I would like a tank big enough that if I only lite the front display section that the back half of the tank would dissappear into darkness.

Is it possible to see this and not break into The Little mermaids "under the sea" in your head?
