Will I finally got my hands on a small Achilles Tang. Thanks FJW. He seems to be doing well. Eating mysis and trying to get him to eat nori. He will stay in copper for two weeks thenPrazipro any suggestions to get him to eat better. He’s only been in QT for a day. I guess patience is key.

You could also offer something like LRS Reef Frenzy (or any other blend that includes some algaes). Make sure that there is algae (such as nori) being offered for at least half of your qt's daylight hours. Hopefully it will continue to eat and start going after some algae clips. Keep in mind that being in copper will suppress its appetite a bit.

Ammonia has shown up in both of my QT tanks. I did a small water change but was wondering if I can use prime to reduce it along with the water changes?

Yes, prime will help with the ammonia.. I would also add a bottle of live bacteria too.

Leave it in fully therapeutic copper for 30 days. 14 days only works if you transfer to an entirely sterile new quarantine tank that shares absolutely nothing with the first tank and is at least ten foot away.

as long as hes eating that early is a very good sign, I'd give nori every day and feed quality frozen and pellets saoked in vitamins.
when they start eating their feeding response improves quite fast.
