Hi,
I've had a 60 gallon cube going for about 18 months. It's doing well and stable, so of course it's time to upgrade and start over! I'm getting a custom tank built that is the biggest that will fit in my space - about 32" wide, 20" front to back, and 26" tall (about 110 gallons). Lighting will be orphek atlantik, with fuge, CaRx, and skimmer. Planning to use hydros controller if they come out on time. Would love to fit a frag tank underneath, but probably won't happen.

I put a lot of stuff in my first tank based on price and my very little knowledge at the time. I was also sloppy about quarantine, and fought every reef pest known to humans for a while. My second tank will be permanent until/unless I move and get space for a 6 footer. I want to create a mixed reef with my absolute favorite corals. My goals are the widest variety possible of size/shape/color/movement/etc. that I can get. Money will not be an object, but I'm not looking to buy because something is expensive, only if it provides more color, better diversity, etc. I'm running the orphek coral color and growth program, so I don't want stuff that only looks good under super blues.

I'm putting my thoughts below, but tell me why I should remove something or what I can add! thanks!!

livestock:
CSB
2x clownfish
mandarin (eventually)
blue dot jawfish
purple firefish
3x anthias - princess or bartletts
3x fairy wrasse - lubbock's, lunate, and lineatus
royal gramma
carpenter's flasher wrasse
forktail blenny
cardinalfish
leopard wrasse
yellow prawn goby and pistol shrimp
cleaner and fire shrimp
small tomini & yellow tangs - will trade in every couple years as they get too big
probably too much...what should I cut?

corals:
shrooms: jawbreaker, kryptonite, gumdrop, others?
softies: colorful gorgonian?, pink nepthea
blue and gold maxima
duncan: are there any really colorful duncans?
acans: have several rainbows already
goni: rainbow
lobo - suggestions
scoly - rainbow suggestions?
wellso/trachy/wilsoni - suggestions?
blasto - CK LSD
monti - suggestions for most colorful?
euphyllia - grail torch, suggestions?
pectina - CB raging rhino
chalices - one of BigR insane asylum, ronauld mcnugget, drunken picasso, CB showstopper, CK demigod furiosa, deadhead - probably just 1, maybe 2 - thoughts?
cyphastrea - monet's madness
encrusters - 1 or 2 of: bigR gumdrop, CK chameleon, CB master rainbow, CB radioavtive rainbow, CB flaming maze brain, CB hell's fire - help me choose!
SPS: oh boy. I have a list of about 50. Can probably fit 10. Samples: princess peach, flaming unicorn, RR kaboom, GB full spectrum, CC grafted banana hammock, RR orange passion, homewrecker, WD, jared's bubble yum, etc.

Too me, that stocking list seems perfect! You put it together well, much better than my first list :/
An awesome monti is the chili pepper grafted cap, it's got a green base, with red and orange polyps, and there are sporadic streaks of red that have almost yellow polyps with enough light. As for the LPS, the best thing to do is to go to your LFS and pick what you like. There are very few LPS "morphs", and they often command a very high price tag. I also prefer having corals with colors I know no one else has, it feels cool.
Also, the tomini tang should be able to live in that tank it's whole life. Or most of it, at least. The Bristletooth tangs really act more like angelfish in that they don't use the open water as much, and are not quite as "out and about" as other tangs. They are killer algae eaters though! If you can find one, you could get an Orange line tang instead, if you like them. They are super pretty bristetooth tangs, and they go through a cool color swap from black and brown to grey and orange!

hi i only have one opinion ,you are going to get a large tank near future lol happy reefing

32 x 20 x 26 x .00434 gallons per cubic inch = about 72 gallons.

Many of those fishes would be good choices, but 19 fish would be too many. And several won't fit, so I would start by cutting out fish that require a larger tank.

I would omit for sure, for size reasons:
Bartlett anthias
lineatus wrasse
leopard wrasse
yellow and tomini tangs

+1 on leaving out those fish consider taking out the mandarin as if you want any wrasses they will compete for pods

I think you have a good fish list. I tend to stock pretty lightly so I would go with fewer fish. It would be a good list for a 120. I don’t know about the mandarin. I never tried one. They are reputed to need to eat often and just live food. Your tank with your load will never have enough live food to support a mandarin. You might get one that eats frozen food so it could work.

I have a tamarin wrasse and they are supposed to be live food only, but mine eats anything I toss into the tank.

Mandarins that eat frozen are not uncommon but not too common either, mine is trained to eat brine shrimp but eats angelfish formula, Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and anything else he can find.
