Dried out rock or coral?

I've done a little research and I wanna say it's deffanantly brain coral. If it is can i bring it back to life?? It is hard coral right? And the pic with the other hard coral will that come to life once my cycles are going??

No, thats dead. Think of it like a human skeleton. It will not come back to life. However, a coral that is still partially alive with at least some flesh has a chance to recover.

It is very rare for corals to come back to life that have been completely dead . Yes you are correct Brian coral are lps (Large polyp stony corals ).
 
Oh man I guess I'll be taking those out of the tank.. I thought they would come back it deffanantly looks cool haha

Okay I'm guessing same goes for this old dried out stag?? The two corals that are in the pics and the one behind the stag?

I took them out already I mean if there dead there dead lol I'll just let them sit out and dry and use it as decor around the house or something it's from and old reef setup
