Another couple steps closer to getting the 75g salty!
I drilled both holes in less than 15 min. with a hole saw that had been used for 4 holes previously.
The glass for the box was cut at Huntsville Glass, great people over there.

siliconed the overflow box together with black silicone.

This time I used tinted glass. A little more expensive but I think it will look better than my first box that was clear glass with clear silicone.

I used black silicone to attach it to the tank so it will blend into the background after I paint it black.

Now to let it cure for 2 days.

More to come when I get to the plumbing later this week.

Having only had all-in-one tanks, I'm wondering what is the reason for bending the pipes back toward the tank instead of running them straight down. Is it for noise?

I do this for support primarily, so I can attach the pipes to the stand. It helps with noise if your running gravity drains, but I'll be running a full siphon.
