Drilled my first aquarium tonight....

I've drilled a few small tanks, I go super slow, like take 5 minutes to drill the hole, no pressure. I use a template for the hole taped on the top, use water for cooling. Usually when I get it to bust through an edge is when I really take my time.

I've heard the small tanks like this are more prone to break.

For cracking? I would agree. The thin glass on these tanks I definitely consider more temperamental.

Thanks for the info here everyone.
Going to start a build thread soon to show more of what I’m doing all in one place.
I’m definitely going for more fun and DIY than instant gratification or pretty looking.
