So I am in the process of purchasing a 60g cube tank that is already drilled. I would love to do a bean animal overflow with a low profile box such as a Synergy Shadow Overflow but with the tank already being drilled, the holes will not match up with the overflow box. Does anyone know of any options that would work for this?

Here is the current setup

You can glue a PVC cap into the bulkhead to close it down for good. Drill new holes away from the existing holes.

Not sure how much experience you have with acrylic but could always make your own weir and exterior box. Will cost about the same as a commercial option, but will match your holes.

Or, buy one of the commercial options without the pass through holes and drill it yourself. That is what I would do.

Any idea on brand for that? I am finding plenty for the weir side but cannot find any that will fit the back.
I'm seconding Gareth. You can easily put in some bulkheads and attach a shadow or ghost box on the other side.

The only issue is that with the pre drilled tank, there aren't a lot of options that will work for my tank.

I am liking that idea the most tbh. I even found a place that does custom acrylic boxes which would fit the bill nicely.

I have made many custom boxes for people who have holes already drilled. If you measure the spacing, i would make a template. Mail it to you so you can compare and make sure it lines up perfectly. Then build the box.

You have them not drill the holes in the box, you do it yourself.
I bet most would do it for you.
Taylor above said he would. His boxes are nice and pretty similar to a ghost.
They just use bulkheads. Drilling acrylic is easy.

I don't see why not. You'll literally use the exact same holes that are currently drilled in your tank to connect the inner and outer box. I mean, this assumes you're willing to do DIY approach like the person in that photo did but you can easily make the existing holes in your aquarium line up with the holes you drill into the inner and outer overflow. Honestly, you're probably going to have to go with a DIY approach anyways if you want the holes to line up.
