Does anyone know how to drill an aquarium and have the tools to do it? i will pay but need to do it as cheap as possible.. Only reason im drilling it is because i cant sale it unless its drilled it seems like. Thats as ways that first questions.

It's very easy to do. All you need is a drill, the diamond coated drill bit, and some water. I wouldn't drill it yet because once the hole is there it can't be plugged. Just tell whoever that it can be drilled if needed.

I have told every body that lol and it sounds easy but i dont wanna go spend 60-70 bucks on the drill bits i would rather pay someone like 20 or so just to do it for me :)

The fact that the tank is drilled does little for a sale IMO. You'd need the overflow at least, preferrably a standpipe (unless you used a glass-holes kit). The problem with 40 breeders is that they're so easy to get for $40 at petco, you pretty much have to sell them for $25 unless you've got a full setup or a reef ready tank. JMO of course.

Yea.. I have realized that lol i might just end up drilling it and making the overflow and keeping it

I've got the bits the I used on my 40 b and the templates/ guides to boot. I can bring them down when I come to town probable around fathers day if you want ? Just let me know ... They are the exact sizes for the glass hole overflow and return.

I believe im gonna be out of town that weekend but it does sound awesome! does glass hole sale just the overflow box?

Ya it comes with the bulkhead but make sure you ad a return bulk head too I'll see exactly what I got and pm you it works great btw
