Hello,
Has anyone drilled the back glass of a Biocube 29? I want to know if the glass is tempered or not.
Thanks, Nitro

I am going to follow along with this. I am currently building out a new tank and when it is done I am moving everything from my BioCube to the new tank. When I get everything moved I am thinking about drilling my BioCube so I can add a sump to it. I was also thinking about drilling the bottom glass in the first back compartment but felt like it was most likely tempered.

I thought the back of the Biocubes were plastic, someone correct me if I'm wrong though. I know its been done before because I have seen pics of it somewhere.

There is an inner plastic wall but the outer wall is glass. They built it out of glass so you could do a fuge in the middle back chamber if you wanted.

Yes, the back is glass as I removed the inner plastic baffle and that is what I want to drill.
