Drilling holes in a stand

What’s peoples thoughts on drill 1 inch hole in my 2x6 stand to run pvc through to save some space in the top rim

Where about do you want to drill it for plumbing? Can you show on this image? This could make a big difference on whether or not it is safe to drill.

About there from Drains then down middle to sump

Not a problem. Just drill it 1 1/2 inch away from the edge and you are fine

What size PVC? I would try to leave no less than 2 inches on top and bottom. That is 4" which would give you 1 1/2" to work with if you put the hole dead center.
