Drilling Mr. Aqua 25 gallon cube

I'm setting up my second tank (breaking down the first tank due to Dino problem) I want this to be my first drilled tank, what size bulk head should I use for a 25 gallon cube? And also size of the overflow? Is there a good formula to use? What considerations should I take?

Not sure, but I'm going to try to go at least 20, going to doy my own sump

I was thinking more DIY? like a simple overflow with 1-2 bulk heads? wouldn't this accomplish the same but less expensive?

That would work I would get a DC return pump then, one of my old reef tanks was plumbed that way and sometimes when the pump was turned back on the overflow would start a siphon and the return pump would start to overflow the tank, another problem could be how much water will drain once you turn off the pump, maybe your sump is not big enough to handle it.
