Drilling Sump

I have an Acrylic sump. I want to drill it to add a external pump. What type bit to use. It needs to be 1 1/2 size hole. I though about using a hole saw. Not sure if that will work. Anyone drilled acrylic before.

From experience, I’d advise watching out for the acrylic shards that fly off. They’re hot enough to put some hurt on ya.
