Hi,

I just drilled my first tank, last two holes chipped a little, chip is on inside.

The gasket easily covers the chip, is this ok? Do these look “ok”?

You can see the coverage the gasket has from the cut outs. One look fine the other is a most half the gasket in one part. Both are upper 1/4 of tank for return lines Thoughts?

that'll be fine. I've always said that a good way to avoid that blow out is to clamp a 2x4 to the outside of the glass your drilling, then drill thru the glass towards the piece of wood. It usually helps prevent that.

Clam shell chips are genreally fine. Its small craks that are not

I taped the heck out of the back side. think I just had too much pressure at the end. Although I wasn’t pushing
