I recently purchased the Tunze Osmolator and hooked up a line to my RO storage tank. Since the storage tank is taller than my DT I can actually have the water gravity fed into my tank and add a needle valve for drip control. Instead of using the osmolator i decided to go the drip system route for evaporation.

My storage tank is connected to the RO/DI Unit so it stays full consistently. Any suggestions?

If you remove the valve from the drip line and place the end of the drip line below the water level it will only top up to that level and will only do it when it needs to. It won't continually drip so you won't have to worry about over filling or under filling the tank :)

Really? awesome. So the water pressure it wont allow it to drip right? just like capping a tube with your thumb when syphoning a tank.

I have been doing the drip method for some time. I daisy chain two 5 gallon carboys. I also have added kalkwasser to the water to maintain pH. This method works pretty well but keep an eye open since room conditions (temp/humidity) can alter the rate of evaporation.
