Drooping zoas?

What causes zoas to droop like this? Too much light maybe? This is God of War for reference.

I have seen pictures like this before. I truly don't know the answer, but if I remember correctly in the last discussion we concluded with it wants more light??? Hopefully someone that knows, for sure, will be able to chime in.

Did you feed any food to the fish or supplements to the tank shortly before taking that pic, like within the past hour? You can see the magicians in the background showing the same shape.

There aren't any fish in this tank and I don't dose anything. Water change is tomorrow so that wasn't done either. It's looked like this the last couple days. This is the only day the Magicians have looked like that. I didn't even notice that one.

I have always been curious about this and I don't know if anyone knows for sure. To me, some sort of feeding behavior would make sense....perhaps collecting more organics from the water? My polyps do this occassionally and it doesn't seem to be correlated with poor health.

In most cases I've seen when a zoa or paly is light starved the stem will stretch like its reaching for light. I don't know why they are like that but could it be water quality?

My water quality is on. I've got thriving SPS in there as well. Maybe I'll try to raise them up some.

i have same issue w/ red zoas in my DT. i think it may be too much light. i have moved some into shadows today to see.
i have RPE's in top and bottom of my 120 gal. they are all doing this regardless of placement in direct light.
my chemistry is spot on as well.
