Drop off aquascape ideas

Looking for ideas on some aquascapes in drop off tanks. Got a IM 20 gal drop off I need to scape.

I’ve never seen this done, but in my mind’s eye it would look super-cool: What if the bottom of the tank (drop) was jammed with a single species of soft coral, with a lot of sway? Like Pulsing Xenia. The fish could go down there and hang out, then go back up to the ‘main’ tank where all the rock is.

Barebottom SPS dominant top half with an overhang protruding over a mixed reef on the bottom half with a deep sand bed would be pretty cool!

I like this idea. Maybe a small NSA type scape up top with bare bottom and DSB down low with a nice chunk of live rock with torches
