I really like this set up

What do you think something like this would go for? Difficult to build?

From the look of things, Ai hydras, Ecotech Vortechs, rimless frag tank, ect. Probably over $2500 - closer to $3000 just for equipment! However, this setup looks like the product of a lot of hard work and planning. Especially financially!
Good luck

More so asking about the drop off

I know the bigger you go the more expensive they are

Would custom made be an easy route?

I had it custom made. The base is a straight aquarium with a glass box to make the drop off effect. By covering the sides with black side panels it gives the required end result.
