Dropped medicated water on floor

Hi, I dropped medicated water on the floor that has cupramine in it and another medication... I want to know how to clean the floor properly so my other animals aren't affected, since they lick their paws and such. Thank you!

Vinegar! Dilute some into water and run a mop over it.

Just soak it up with a towel so it’s dry. Come back over it with what you normally use to clean your floors or just water. As long as it’s dried you’ll be fine.

Copper oxide dissolves in water, but it usually takes a long time. The combination of vinegar (a weak solution of acetic acid), and table salt (sodium chloride) helps to dissolve the copper oxide, and also forms the blue copper(II) ion, which is soluble in water. The penny becomes shiny again!

Was it carpet? I feel like any hard floor you could just mop, right? Or towel dry it.

What makes you think that the cleaner you are going to use on your floor is safer for your other animals than the copper water is? Your fish can live in the copper water I bet the same isn't true if you were to put the cleaner in your tank.

It's just for piece of mind for myself, that I did an extreme procedure to clean it for my animals. I'm going to use your solution aswell with this.

I'll be using vinegar and water I think that's pretty safe and we dose it in our tanks too

Literally anything will make it safe. I'd only be worried about carpet maybe. But the vinegar as an extra measure won't hurt so why not. It disinfect too so double bonus!
