Dropped my new birdsnest frag

So, today I purchased a really nice, but inexpensive birdsnest frag. I was stepping on the step stool to put it in my tank, slipped and dropped it on the floor. Hooray, right? So I picked up the pieces and put them in the spot I had picked out for the frag. Will it live? what else should I do. My first adventure into sps.

The pieces need to be glued to something like frag plugs or rocks. Use as little glue as possible so you don’t cover too much flesh. They should all grow if there is healthy flesh exposed.

Woo Hoo! I just fragged a coral! Not exactly the way I had hoped to start. But its a beginning right?

Cool, they grow pretty fast. Should have some to trade in at the lfs in a couple of months, or you could start a Birdsnest forest.

I think a birdsnest forest sounds like great idea.

Today that forest sounds nice. Report back in a year Greg with pics. You might just get them all reaching for space. You'll be snapping off small colonies wondering why you did such a thing in time I hope.

They are good growers every peace has potential to become a nice coral. so cool
