Hello im trying to drop my salinity in my tank.tank is 85 gallons plus 30 gallons sump now i took out about 7 gallons of tank water out and replaced it with rodi water and not even a dent plz help

How are you measuring salinity. With a 7 gallon change with RO/DI, out of approximately 115 gallons, you should have seen a drop. What is your current salinity? And what are you trying to get to?

Okay to make a long story short im trying to run hypo in the dt for ich i cant do a qt now im using a ref meter at the moment im at 1.022 and im trying to get 1.015

Your salinity measurement is wrong. Or you added saltwater back in. If I take 1 gallon out of my 100 gal tank, my salinity drops noticeably.

If you are using a refractor, clean it with RO water and dry it after every use. If saltwater residue accumulates it messes up future reading. Also calibrate.
