I would say maybe rinse it off but thats really about it. That is all I did when i used it.

Cool saw a spot selling a bunch all new still packaged.
thinking of adding 100Lbs to my setup. Wonder what 100lbs looks like...
Moving my corals will be annoying though.
Hopefully i can get a nice scape going.

How big of a tank do you have and how much rock in in there right now?

150 gal 6 foot long, i have quite a bit, not sure of the actual number, but definitely could use more, especially for my angels.

Exactly what I used, I haven't seen any problems. I soaked it in water for 4 days with some Lanthium chloride just in case of phosphate leaching. Other than that its working fine!

Here is what my tank looks like now actually. I want to stack rock higher and give the fish more caves and places to swim between. I may have some left over that i can always keep or resell. Guy is selling for $1.50 /lb from CT.

Adding some more rock will really make the tank look even better. You'll have to post some pics once the new rock is in

Ok i just paid, it was acutally $1.00 per pound if anyone interested i could make the connection. Said they have about 1500 lbs available and bunch of other supplies as they are going out of business.
I asked for the largest pieces available. He said usually the large pieces are 10-14lbs each. so I assume at that rate i may get like 10 large pieces.... i think with the entire mid section of my tank i can make that work. I will leave the 2 corners alone as the fish really like those caves.
If your interested send me your email i will forward to the guy so he knows i gave him the business.
Thanks for the responses !!

So of course crappy fed ex, scanned both boxes at the same time all the way together. Left only one box and brought the other box back to facility stating requesting later delivery... WHAT... why would you leave 1 box and not the other seriously...
So I'm soaking these in some RO water with a power head in the bucket... Honestly i want to jump in and use these pieces already as they are nice big chunks and i could probably do a lot with them and what i have already.
But i think i should wait for the rest to see what combo i can put together.
So i may be waiting till next weekend to make changes....
Grrr was set on doing this today.

Some store from CT, was posted on CL here in NY.
Said they were going out of business and had a whole store of supplies/food etc

Wash base rock using declination hoo or better yet room water .just put into tank and add some seeded , cured live rock or finish aquascaping. Or add some water from an established tank. Better yet buy some sea water from Los or bacteria from them.wait several weeks if possible if no other live rock was added before adding fish and corals. In other words let the tank cycle.

Please forgive my spelling. Fingers too big .I forgot to add grain size of sand may cause problems with clumping and bacteria .again it's not the stuff to use.
