Ok so I'm sure this question comes up a lot this is my first question post lol. So I been told to do this both ways with the dry rock I plan on getting from brs. Should I cure the rock in separate buckets/brute can? Or can I do the process in the tank itself? I will have no fish in the tank just live sand. Also I went with the Sicce 3.0 silent return pump as it works nice I'm just not feeling it so I decided to look at other options and use the Sicce for mixing and water changes. I'm looking at the jeboa DC6000 anyone have one of these? All info is appreciated thanks.

As far as the rock goes. Is this a new setup or has it been running for awhile. If it's new I say put it in tank and cycle that way if not I would cure first in separate container then add when it's ready

Thanks it's a new setup so I'll just add to tank.

Which type of rock are you getting? I always get the BRS reef saver rock. I just spray it down really good with a water hose and nozzle sprayer and then rinse / swish it in a bucket of ro/di water and put it in the tank. Did that with my last 4 tanks.

Think I'm going to go with the dry pukani and thanks for the info
