Dry Rock and Sand Vs Live and how much??

I am in the middle of buying what i need for my 90 gallon. Plumbing is finished so now im moving on to rock and sand. My plan right now is to order 50 pounds of marco rock and then get 50 pounds of live rock locally. Should i do all live? or is my plan good? Does that sound like a right amount? I also need to decide whether to do all live sand or do 50/50 live/dry. Where would i get the dry sand? i see that marco has it but reviews dont seem to good on their sand.

I never buy live rock --> Buy it Dead, not alive

Just use Dr. Tim's One and only to seed the tank. I did however use 50% live special grade reef sand and 50% dry special grade reef sand.

Where did you get your reef sand. When i look they dont have a different special grade reef sand for dry vs live. and do you have a picture of your tank with the sand? i want to see what it looks like

This is when it was just set up. The rocks actually look like live rock now instead of white rocks. The rocks are BRS Reef Saver Rock.
I like them because there is no die off since they are dug up from an ancient reef and then power washed.

I got this dry sand from LFS - Marine Aquarium Substrate: Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand

And special grade live sand from Petco.
