Why is both of them so expensive? Like I just need some rock and I can’t find none anywhere and if I do it’s like 20 dollars a pound. So are there any cheap-free live rock/dry rock? Ill literally dive in the ocean to get some...

Dry rock is pretty inexpensive, my favorite place to buy dry rock is reefcleaners.org. More like $2/lb. Pretty sure it is illegal to collect rock from the ocean without a permit. Live rock is more expensive for many reasons.

Nvm I found a great deal 40lbs of dry rock for 25$ cheap right?!
