Dry Rock New Tank

Perfect. While we are on this topic, what is a good putty to use to hold the rocks together once I decide on a scape eventually? I was searching the forums, looks like JB Weld Waterweld is something people like?
Apoxie-Sculpt. It comes in colors and different sizes. I use it with superglue gel. Squirt some superglue gel on the rock - apoxie sculpt - superglue gel on the other rock surface = push together and hold. If you are in need of instant hardening, use Bob Smith superglue accelerator spray. Amazon has the apoxie-sculpt and accelerator. Use any superglue gel.

I tried to fit my aquascape together as much as i could with gravity and interlocking rocks. But there were a few areas i needed to connect mite strongly. I had some green putty, but was concerned the color would clash! So, i used hydraulic cement from Lowe's or Home Depot. It is really strong bonds... but you have to work with it quickly, or keep adding wstwr to it to keep it from hardening too fast. This is s cheap alternative to the Marco cement which is around $35-40 for a small quantity. I got my tub of hydraulic cement for $10. If you go this route, mix small quantities in plastic cups for each little area you want to cement together. I tried to just "tack" rocks together at small points so as not to use too much. It will dry gray and blend in very well.

This is the most elaborate thing i did. Carved a hole through the rock (you can only see the start of the opening under the ledge), added the little pillar on the left for support, added the rock on top, and a small out-cropping on the top right.
