I was thinking about ordering pukani dry rock for my 40 breeder build. I was shopping around and saw ARC reefs dry rock (Not pukani). The rock they have in their pics looks good and porous and comes with one small live rock said to be covered with at least six different coraline algaes to seed the other rocks. What got my attention most was that they said their rock had half the phosphates of Fiji dry rock and that pukani could have up to 400% more phosphates than theirs does. Is pukani not a good option? I was interested in it because being nice and light fewer pounds will go further in aquascaping. Appreciate any advice or input.

I can show you a picture of a piece of jumbo pukani that BRS sold me the phosphates were low after i bleached it for a week. I had diatoms for two weeks and I’m on month 3 with no algae outbreaks. I used a gfo reactor for a week when the diatoms broke out and now I’m just running carbon and a skimmer
