After a tank crash a few years ago I stored all my equipment and rock. Thinking of starting the tank back but was wondering if the rock would bring back all the pest I had on it

How long has the tank been dry for?

If it's been out of the water for a long time, nothing can possibly have survived on it.

Fairly certain everything is dead I would give them a good cleaning before reusing

What’s a tank crash? I’m new to saltwater aquarium and reefing.

It when something goes terribly wrong and kills all or most of the inhabitants. Can be caused by numerous things, chemical issues, failed heater etc.

Everything is most likely dead but I would probably bleach soak them in to be safe. If nothing else it will clean some of the crud off.

Thanks everyone for the advice
