So i just want to make sure im not messing anything up as it just came to mind. I am cycling by biocube 32 with 20lbs of dry aragonite and 40lbs of rock. The rock ws live, but i bleach/vinegar cured it as it came out of someone elses tank. I am on day 3 of my cycle using the frozen shrimp and have an ammonia reading of 4.0ppm. Should i add anything else to help seed the sand? Or will it just do it over time since it was dry?

The sand will cycle at the same rate as the rock and tank. Bacteria will populate every surface.

To late now, but real ocean water helpful, most major public aquariums use it. Some LRS carry. For future. I just found out recently. Bummer :)

Keep lights off and bacteria, also I trick I learned that works well. If you have a buddy get some of his water and do a water change with his tank water. The bacteria you will get is better than anything in a bottle.
